Abundant flowers, foliate, and Neoclassical motifs in the border frame the central landscape which transports the viewer to a Mediterranean landscape merging pastoral/woodland tranquility where two cows graze by temple ruins. Stamped “Morea Bone China” on the reverse, the antique serving piece shows its age with a number of darkened chips around the edges and crazing of the ceramic.
