The design motif of this exquisite vessel is reminiscent of Moroccan Safi-style or Mediterranean-inspired pottery pieces, though this beauty hails from Mexico.

Its eye-catching half-moon swirl motif is drenched in vivid deep cobalt blue and Byzantium purple (Byzantium purple is a deep reddish-purple color) with sandy beige undertones and a highly glazed finish that catches light beautifully across the form in a way that brings depth and quiet drama to the vessel. Fully glazed on the interior, as well. This beauty measures 11½” x 9¼” x 9¼” H/W/D; interior height 11”; weight 6 lbs. 4 oz. Photos were taken in the round to show all sides and any varying shades and nuances of the vessel’s colors and texture. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. Handcrafted by an unknown Mexican pottery artisan.
