This exceptional 19th-century Persian footed bowl is a beautiful example of historic Islamic metalwork. Masterfully hand-crafted from heavy-gauge copper, the piece features a traditional flared rim and sits elegantly on a slightly splayed pedestal base.
The exterior is richly decorated with hand-hammered and incised ornamentation, showcasing a prominent band of stylized floral medallions that are intricately detailed and framed by geometric borders. The interior of the bowl features a central, four-pointed floral emblem incised into the bottom.
