Unmarked, the set was acquired on a recent buying trip to France and acquired in Paris.

Each Lucite base is mounted with a polished brass bar terminating in a brass sphere. The spheres feature an opening at the top, though the slots do not align uniformly throughout the set — a subtle quirk that adds character and invites interpretation, whether viewed as purely decorative or suggestive of an alternate intended use.

The interplay of clear Lucite, warm cane, and softly aged brass gives the set a distinctly sophisticated yet relaxed presence. Equally suited to an informal outdoor table or a sleek contemporary setting, these knife rests bring texture, warmth, and understated style to the table.

Condition Report; Very good, brass has an aged warm, minor scratches to the Lucite, all in keeping with the age and use.
