A striking 1986 Canetti Inc. “Modern Time” wall clock with a bold Postmodern / Memphis-inspired design. The round black face features a large white XII numeral, layered geometric linework, a sculptural gray hand, and a bright red circular accent.
Associated with Nicolai Canetti’s innovative ModernTime clock collection, this piece reflects the playful, graphic, design-forward spirit of the 1980s. It works beautifully as both a functional clock and a decorative wall object.
The back is marked Canetti Inc., with a quartz movement made in Japan and the case/dial made in Taiwan. Tested and running well; keeps good time. Uses one AA battery, not included.
