Offered is a vintage silver-plated pedestal cake stand by Sheridan Silver Co.. It features a decorative, scalloped rim with intricate scrollwork and floral details on the rim and a patterned center. This piece was made in the 1940s but shows inspiration from ones made by Tiffany in the early 20th century and from Victorian era English pieces. There is a wide dimple in the center and we believe this might be to hold a bowl. Perfect for parties, to serve your desserts in style, or even to display your centerpiece flower arrangements. We believe the base beneath silver-plate is stainless steel which helps to keep this piece bright and silvery.
