Pair of vintage mid century travel prints originally painted by San Francisco artist Louis Macouillard originally produced and distributed in the 1950's-1960's as an official travel advertisement. Framed in wood frames.
Germany print is of paddlewheel cargo steamer rolling past Pfalzgrafenstein Castlenear Kaub, Germany. The toll castle was built circa 1330 and was never conquered or destroyed.
Spain print is of a hilltop castle, La Puebla De Montalban, overlooking a traditional Spanish village with classic whitewashed walls, distinctive terracotta tile roofs and arched balconies.
