Handcrafted for utility, the harvester would toss grapes over their shoulder into the basket; once full, the unit could be set on the ground where two integrated wood supports provided stability.

Constructed from strong, handwoven wicker with a unique pattern and design, the basket retains its original rope shoulder straps and two hoop handles. It stands 18 inches tall. Please note that the wear of the piece—including various dings and frayed wicker—is entirely consistent with its age. See less
