Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown thin green stripes and gold flecks Italian art glass flower bud vase. The piece is documented to designer Ercole Barovier, for the Barovier e Toso company. The vase has a flattened body, with ribbed surface and applied clear glass foot. It is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf, with a gold rope "Cordonato d'Oro" design on the surface. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, dresser or curio cabinet. Leave it as is, or put little wild flowers inside. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 4 1/2" tall x 2 3/4” long x 2” wide.
