Featuring the famed English designers maker's mark on the brass inner hinge which dates the piece to between 1893 - 1899, this rare piece was originally designed as a smokers box but can also be used as a stylish trinket or jewellery holder. Crafted from finely hand carved solid Italian green marble with elements of brown and pale blueish grey throughout, similar in pattern to onyx or jade, this highly collectable and truly exquisite example of Victorian era craftsmanship would be a beautiful addition to classic, mid century modern or contemporary home decor schemes.
