This relatively rare piece of furniture is a product of the renowned furniture factory De Ster and a contemporary of the famous "knot" model. Because this model was somewhat overshadowed by other models in its own time, it is now a very rare piece. It is 100% certain that the model was made by the De Ster furniture factory and is of unprecedented world-class design. The sculptural frame, crafted from solid teak wood, features beautiful organic forms and is open-worked on the sides; the whole is strongly reminiscent of the designs and finishes sometimes seen on expensive ships. Just look at how beautifully the armrests blend into the frame—exceptionally beautiful! The upholstery has been entirely custom-made by skilled craftsmen. A beautiful deep yellow coarse-woven fabric was chosen, extra soft and intense in color—extraordinarily beautiful! The frame is fitted with new straps at the bottom and horizontal tension springs at the back, ensuring a unique appearance and exceptionally comfortable seating.
