Late Regency circa 1820 adjustable height reading table or music stand, English. Integral reading rail. Highly figure mahogany. Ring turned standard to an oblong octagonal base with 4 s-curved legs with turned rosettes. The top adjust for different reading angle/heights. 33 1/8" h. to top of rail when down. Metal thumb key screw secures height by tension - not set to hold at various heights. Top can be placed at 6 different angles.
21 3/16" w., 15 3/8" d., 32.25" surface height.
