Crafted in Northern Italy circa 1870, the elevated oval vessel is raised on a sculptural pedestal base and richly decorated throughout with hand-painted pastoral scenes, floral garlands, and heraldic motifs. The colorful reserves depict peasants gathering in the countryside and are framed by delicate bouquets and trailing botanical decoration executed in a charming provincial style.
