The rectangular hinged top displays an elaborate central cartouche with scrolling floral motifs and delicate line inlays at the borders. The case is further embellished with matching inlaid decoration to the front panel and accented with carved beaded molding around the edges. Richly figured rosewood veneers with warm patina and attractive grain.
