Antique Powell Hanmer bicycle lantern/light from the late 1890's, made of black painted metal with glass jewel red windows on the sides. This is an oil/kerosene burning model, called the "Meteor" that had a wick inside, this still has the wick and the turn knob works to move the wick up and down. The part that connects it to the bike is spring loaded. This was made in Birmingham, England. Glass is intact with no chips or cracks, appears whole without missing parts, has wear to black paint. Measures 4.75" high.
