Superb circular bowl in solid 950/1000 silver, signed by the Lyon silversmiths Charles-Frédéric Berger and Henri Nesme (circa 1920).
An emblematic piece of the Art Nouveau style, with a naturalistic and fluid floral decoration typical of the period: the rim is adorned with a continuous frieze of stylized pansies in high relief, with fringed, veined, and contrasting petals, intertwined with sinuous stems, heart-shaped leaves, and graceful tendrils.
