Offering from my personal Studio Pottery 1990's Collection this square ceramic platter is a signature "Bristoleaf" style landscape platter created by David Karakatsoulis Pottery.
Real leaves (like the maple leaves seen here) are pressed directly into the wet clay before firing, leaving a natural, detailed organic imprint. It combines a deep blue crystalline slip or glaze with unglazed, textured sections that depict a serene, silhouetted Northwoods tree line and floating autumn foliage.
