Stunning 1930s solid walnut Davis Cabinet Company chest of drawers with beautiful integrated carved walnut pulls in the shape of a rose. The walnut is smooth and absolutely beautiful.
The top features a swinging mirror that has some aging and streaking to the glass, but it just shows that it is an antique and has character. You can't replicate that kind of natural aging! It has two small pull out drawers for trinkets and jewelry. The top mirror and small drawers can be removed for versatility, and the chest used by itself. The surface is surrounded by a beautiful soft beveled edge with mitered corners.
Below, the top row has a pair of shallow drawers. The bottom two rows are wonderful deep drawers, great for storage. The drawers are a bit heavy, but slide out with no problem. Because it is an antique, the drawers are not on slides, just wood runners. Everything functions well!

Marked in the back with the Davis Cabinet Company original tag, showing the style number (151) and that it was made of walnut.

The only call out is the top right drawer in the back where the mirror is attached has a crack. It is securely attached, and screws in as you can see in the back. But at some point when moving, the crack occurred. The chest of drawers is not affected, only the mirror/top small drawer setup on the right. less
