This listing is for a beautiful, authentic matching pair of late 19th-century Victorian/Bohemian kerosene stand lamps. The lamps feature stunning cranberry-flash overlay fonts on clear glass, exquisitely wheel-etched and cut in a classic floral motif displaying multi-petaled blossoms, delicate forget-me-not style sprigs, and sweeping stylized foliage.
Each glass font is securely seated into a heavy, classical fluted brass standard that terminates on a solid, single-step white marble base. The bases showcase an incredible natural variegation and retain their original structural tie-rods underneath.
The brass burner assemblies are historically significant pieces of Americana. One collar supports a classic brass "EAGLE" burner, while the thumbwheel adjusters are sharply stamped:
"P&A MFG CO / MADE IN U.S.A. / WATERBURY, CONN."
"P&A / MADE IN U.S.A. / DORSET DIV. / THOMASTON, CONN."
The set comes complete with two vintage clear glass pie-crust/beaded-top chimneys. These stunning lamps offer an elegant pop of color and historical sophistication, perfect for a mantel, buffet, or serious lighting collection.
