Black fighting rooster in a stand-off position. These were popular in the 1950s.
A beautiful Rooster made by Syracuse New York ornamental Company or Syroco Wood and is made from a compressed wood product. Painted in black and appear to have originally been gold and have a few spots where the gold is showing through, as you can see where the hangers were attached on the back.
This cool work of art still has the original sticker.
