There … Read more This is a beautiful, fantastic condition, early 1890's - 1920s American U.S. Treasury Department sorting table with index-sized drawers. There are two U.S. Treasury Department Post Office plaques above and below the drawers, each showing its province marker. There are 15 drawers and two pull-out writing tables near the top, with brass hardware. Almost all the inner drawers are in wonderful condition with their original green-painted metal with section sliders. Two of the drawers have original facing and hardware with a reconstructed inner drawer. (pictured) Quarter-sawn oak wood with a solid construction. The top of the table detaches for easy access to the inner workings of the drawer construction.
