Recently restored, the chair has been newly upholstered in a refined warm oatmeal wool-blend bouclé with subtle flax and camel undertones. The upholstery was carefully selected to preserve the chair’s masculine architectural language while introducing a softer, more contemporary editorial sensibility. The fine micro-loop bouclé texture enhances the depth of the tufting and gives the surface a quiet tactile richness without overwhelming the clarity of the original design.

This particular model has been extensively documented in period publications, most notably appearing on the cover of Casa e Jardim (Brazil House & Garden), 1956, no. 30, as well as in Giuseppe Scapinelli’s own published material.
