Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, this exquisite piece features a slender, elegant neck that swells into a classic teardrop body.

The body of the vase is beautifully hand-painted with a romantic motif of lush pink and deep burgundy roses, accented by delicate clusters of tiny white blossoms and soft green foliage. The entire background features a unique, finely textured spattered finish in soft tones of green and grey, culminating in a heavy, rich sponge-gilded treatment at the top rim.
