A wonderful oversized nightstand commode by Barbara Barry for Baker.
The nightstand is very large with a handsome sleek design.
The frame is made of a dark stained mahogany wood with tapered legs. The chest has one pullout drawer with small chrome knobs.
Above the drawer is a pullout flat shelf. It's a perfect place to set your evening reads, a glass of water.
The dark stained wood and sleek design make for an elegant handsome piece of furniture.
It is quite heavy and extremely well made.
I also have a pair of these exact nightstands in a combination dark stained and parchment finish in another listing. They are Barbara Barry as well, for Henredon.
