I love this bowl because it’s not like the rest. The iridescent ombré from clear glass at the feet transitioning through a gorgeous opalescent delicateness and finishing with that well-known and very popular milk white at the ruffled rim, is absolutely stunning and very pleasing to any artistic appetite. She can blend in with any color scheme, any decor style and accent each one uniquely.
Manufactured by Northwood Glass Company out of rural Virginia in the early 1900’s, with these styles combining, milk glass was just coming up onto the scene, it was likely the 1920’s/30’s and still distributed small scale, which makes this girl a rare find and highly collectable in the glass world! Even when trying to enter Northwood Glass Co into the search on here, it’s not found. That’s how small scale they were.
9 inches across and about 4.5 inches tall and absolutely gorgeous!! Well made, no damage or child at all, she has been treated well and very loved, you can tell. See less
