Althorp Living History Bar Cabinet

A mahogany, chestnut burl veneered, parcel gilt and finely brass decorated Bar cabinet, the pierced brass gallery top above two faux drawer fronted cabinet doors and centered by a further doors with a columned grand entrance with finely cast and pierced brass mounts, the doors enclosing a lit, fitted and mirror backed interior with two drawers and adjustable glass shelves, above a base with a concealed drawer and square legs with fretwork spandrels brackets and block feet.

Understanding the Althorp Collection’s Origins:
The Althorp Living History Collection was created by Theodore Alexander in collaboration with Charles, 9th Earl Spencer (Princess Diana’s brother).

The collection features faithful reproductions of historic furniture from Althorp House, the Spencer family estate in England.

It includes intricately carved wood, marquetry, and gilded details, inspired by 18th-century English aristocratic furniture.
