It is of exceptional quality with large … Read more An extraordinary late 19th century English oak and Sheffield silver plate salad set. It is of exceptional quality with large cast lions heads and oversized Victorian ball feet. The front shield on the bowl bears the inscription, "Presented to W A Waters Esq., By the Parishioners of Fringford On His Marriage, March 1885" It retains its original tossing tools and has been professionally restored in England. The oak bowl has a white ironstone insert which is removable for cleaning. It was found in West Sussex. See less
