This version of superbly hand-carved beech fauteuils have the classical features of chairs from the early 18th Century. The seatbacks are cartouche-shaped with a central bouquet of flowers on the top curves. The S-Scroll arm supports match the cabriole legs and terminate with scroll feet. The upholstery is a neutral striped cream color that can blend well with most color schemes. However, they can also be reupholstered with modern fabric for a more refreshed look.

Minor touchups such as filling in dents and chips have been done to the chairs. However, no repairs have been done to the frame or legs. A recent waxing has enhanced the color of the natural beech wood nicely. The upholstery is in good condition except for a watermark on the seat of one of the chairs. We will be happy to provide additional images upon request. less
