Multi colour flowers with original silk thread bindings. Flowers are hand made from carnelian, rose quartz, amethyst, turquoise, jade (white and green), and soapstone, with individually hand cut and polished spinach jade leaves. The stamens are made from brass and topped with what looks like coral beads.
Flanked by two smaller trees, possibly peach/persimmon and grape (turquoise, jade and amethyst). Importantly. this tree does not appear to have been rewired.
The Cloisonne Jardiniere rests on four small gold feet with white Buddhist flowers/lotus and is edged with the Cloud and Thunder pattern.
The piece has a copper workshop or commission plaque on the underside with the inscription mentioning a Child/Son, Emperor/Noble, Strong & Robust, Elderly & Respected..
This ornamental tree ticks all the boxes!
