A lovely vintage Williamsburg Restoration Delft flower brick, frog produced in Holland, featuring hand-painted Chinese fishing scenes. These bricks were originally designed in the 18th century to hold small floral stems or root herbs, and often included a central space to force bulbs. This rectangular ceramic piece features a light blue ground and includes polychrome details in a chinoiserie fashion.
