Early 20th century made in Italy, finest carvings featuring renaissance revival style cherub / putti / baby angel heads as top cartouche, to go along with griffons / phoenix bird backrests. Pair is standing on four straight Victorian style spindle carved legs. Carved from rich walnut, with inserted removable seats covered in vintage cruel style upholstery. Chairs are in good condition, showing some age / use wear on wood, fabric is great but old (please see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere at 16.5" wide, 16.5" deep front to back, the overall height is 40", and the seats are 18.5" in height. This designer delight will be a great collection addition, and will mesh with any Mid-Century Modern and traditional setting!
