The rectangular top is made with 2 wide planks, extended and rounded front corners, and a subtle molded edge around three sides. It has cabriole legs typical of the Louis XV period. A single drawer set into a scalloped apron.
Brass escutcheon and drawer pulls are not original and were added later. The escutcheon has no keyhole or lock mechanism behind it and is purely decorative. It is a timeless piece with Provençal character, constructed with dovetail, wooden peg, and nail joinery.
