Lovely Maitland Smith 4-panel folding screen, depicting Magnolia flowers and Sparrows. Signed and sealed by artist. Watercolor and ink on silk. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and plaques showing age patina. Brown silk, original labels, felt pads and two Asian style brass hangers on back. Designed by Maitland Smith. Hand made and hand painted in Peoples Republic of China. Very Good condition - minor age wear overall, some age wear at edge of the 1st panel, some age wear on the frame, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
