Exceptional and rare antique French garniture set by Japy Frères, featuring an ornate mantel clock with matching figural candelabras. This breathtaking three-piece set is richly decorated with elaborate gilt ormolu style metalwork, hand-painted Sevres-style porcelain plaques, cherub figures, floral candle branches, and elegant Rococo/Louis XVI inspired details throughout.
The clock retains its original Japy Frères movement with maker’s medal stamp, one of the most celebrated French clock manufacturers of the 19th century. The finely painted porcelain panels depict romantic portraits, cherubs, and floral scenes in vibrant cobalt blue and gold tones.
