106 year old English Ebony Ring Tree with Sterling Surround Base
- 'Ebony' mark in script writing on bottom
- Ebony is a dense black/brown hardwood and has a mirror finish when polished.
- Dimensions- 2.5” wide x 3.5” tall
- 'Tree' for hanging rings, sits in the middle of the base, for holding other jewelry, within raised sides

Sterling collar hallmarks and silversmith marks
o Sterling base has stunning scroll work, and a blank/clear monogram engraving plate; no monogram
o Year indicator: Is not obvious, but original dealer tag shows 1916
o Town indicator: Leopard's head uncrowned- London
o Country indicator: Lion passant (facing left)– England
o Silversmith mark: H.F.D. & Co.
- H.F. Daltry & Co, established 1781
- H.F.D. & Co. produced full dresser sets for women and travel sets for men.

Purchased at the original Bermondsey Antiques Market, London, in the 1980s, and includes original dealer's tag.
