This is a handsome pair of large-scale modern wingback chairs by American furniture maker Stratford, a division of Caye Upholstery. The arm chairs are generously proportioned and perfect for taller people who tend to think most chairs are too small. The upholstery is a modern striped brown and tan fabric, and the legs are square tapered solid wood stained dark brown.
The chairs, dated 2010, are in very good used condition. The chairs are heavy, well built, and sturdy. The upholstery fabric is very clean with some fraying on the back corners of the wings, and some sun fading on the arms of one of the chairs. Minor scuffing on the legs. Please see photos for more details about the condition of the chairs.
Each chair measures 41.5” tall, 32” wide, and 33” deep with a 20” seat height and 26.75” arm height. The seat depth is 23” and the seat width is 21.5”.
