Made in Soi Ban Bat, Bangkok, Thailand — the historic “Monk Bowl Village” where the last traditional artisans still practice this centuries-old craft.

Date: Inscribed in Thai numerals = 11 August 1990

Size: 4 inches (10 cm) tall × 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide (rounded bottom)

Material: Forged steel, lacquered finish with gilt inscription—Mint Condition, never used

Craftsmanship: Traditionally hammered together by hand from multiple iron pieces, symbolizing the Buddha’s Eightfold Path. Finished with black lacquer, with hand-applied gold lettering.

Decoration: Lotus/star motifs framing the date and opposite side of rim representing purity and enlightenment in Thai Buddhist tradition.
