This stunning vintage wall mirror, designed in the evocative style of the legendary French designer Serge Roche, is a masterpiece of architectural plasterwork. The frame is defined by a series of bold, deep-relief moldings featuring dramatic acanthus leaves and fluid scrollwork that exemplify the 1930s neo-baroque revival. Its stark white finish emphasizes the sculptural interplay of light and shadow, making it a sophisticated focal point for a refined entryway, a glamorous vanity, or a modern living space seeking a touch of surrealist flair.
Measuring 22.75” wide by 3.75” deep and 24.75” tall, this mirror possesses a substantial and commanding presence. It remains in excellent vintage condition, exhibiting a fine network of crazing and surface hairline cracks throughout the molded plaster. This crackle effect serves as an authentic aged patina, enhancing the piece’s storied character without compromising its structural integrity. A rare find for collectors of French modernist-inspired decor, this mirror is ready to bring timeless elegance to your wall—add this exceptional piece to your collection today.
