Designed by Claud (yep, no "e") Bunyard in 1963, the CB10 Chair is a reinterpretation of the traditional Windsor chair. These two are made of ash, which Bunyard often used because it can easily be steam bent. The finish is a white oak colored lacquer.
This chair is used all through the Yale Center for British Art, for example. Louis Kahn also used it in his ultra-famous Exeter Library ten years later.
The undersides of the seats carry the Bunyard maker's mark, which I have photographed for you.
