The large chair frames are hand-crafted from solid beechwood, stained in a deep brown, and finished with a turned bobbin spindle motif around the arms, frame, and apron. The design adds a traditional William & Mary or latter William Morris influence to the Campaign-style form of the chairs. The frames are executed with mortise-and-tenon joinery and upholstered in saddle-brown leather. The benchmade chairs are individually produced and finished with the highest level of handcraftsmanship. The bespoke armchairs were custom ordered with an optional upgraded leather seat. The leather upholstery is accented by brass tack nailheads and brass casters adding a subtle English Country accent. The chairs are completed by Ralph Lauren's tack house stripe cotton fabric loose seat cushions in blue, and cream tones. The seats are large and generous, flanked by padded arms measuring 24" tall. The versatile chairs blend Traditional, English Country, Campaign, and English Colonial styles to create a luxurious result. The frames are sturdy and strong having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The chairs were upholstered by E J Victor, Morganton, NC for Ralph Lauren and dated 2023 with the original order tags under the seat. The pair are in exceptional condition as seen in photos. Sold as a pair.

Condition: Good, minor wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with solid joinery and excellent construction. Light age-appropriate wear with minor creasing, marks, and light handling wear. Upholstery presents clean and well-maintained. Minor scuffs to finish which are difficult to see. See less
