The focal point is a white, multi-story house with a green roof and red chimneys resembling a Colonial or early American homestead, possibly even a stylized saltbox or Federal-era structure.
On either side of the house are symmetrical evergreen trees, painted in muted green with simple brushstrokes. Along the lid edge runs a repeating crescent or tulip-like motif in a warm ochre/gold tone and the top with red heart shapes in each corner.

Various decor styles are represented: American Folk Art, a Colonial Revival with a Pennsylvania Dutch influence or Primitive / Rustic Decor. This attractive vessel would be perfectly tucked into a shelf containing making room for ample additional storage or organization, or it would make a perfect gift for a significant date in the year of 1995..
