This is a lovely vintage wicker armchair attributed to Harvey Probber dating from the early 1970s. This is the 'step-arm' variation of the well known D43 armchair. The D43 was made in three variations, the most common being the barrel arm. The slanted arm is seen often also, but this one, with a stepped down arm design, is much less common.
The chair is in very good vintage condition with no visible breaks to the wicker and only minor typical scuffs from use. One of the loose wicker strings underneath the chair has a break, but it is not structural. The chrome is in good condition with only minor typical patina. (see images)
The chair measures about 22"w x 22"d x 30.5"h. Seat height is about 17".
