Each piece is made with meticulous care, making it a true work of art. To make it, the metal was carefully shaped with a hammer, by hand. Every part of it was made by hand, even the intricate details of the Pharaoh's head. The sides of the box are elaborately edged with copper, and a beautiful copper heart is attached to the front of the love box, which has a keyhole in the middle, but this is only for show. This lovely little casket is inspired by the charming old boxes of the Middle Ages, where people would keep their love poems. We took great care to polish the box so that we wouldn't ruin its beautiful antique patina, but it's also easy to polish it to a high shine. We know you're going to love this unique box.
