Rare JVE Germania clock, Black Forest, 1950s. Male figure in traditional costume (wanderer/citizen, 18th century) with staff and decorative weights. The frame is made of heavy metal (spelter/antimony die-casting), finely crafted and hand-painted. Mechanism: Original mechanical movement from the period with spring winding and pendulum. Operating condition: The clock is running. The mechanism has been tested and keeps good time. It comes complete with the winding key and the original pendulum. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
