This is a vintage glass candy bowl with a sterling silver base, made by Frank M. Whiting & Co.. It features a clear, round glass bowl mounted on a weighted sterling silver pedestal.
The Maker’s Name is stamped on the silver rim of the base along with "Sterling”.
This small candy bowl is in Very Good preloved condition with no major chips, cracks or scratches. It measures 4 1/4” Wide x 2 3/4” Tall x 2 1/8” (at the base).
The base includes a decorative gadroon (ribbed) pattern.
