In contrast to prevailing European decorative traditions, Tenreiro articulated a distinctly Brazilian design language grounded in proportion, restraint, and material honesty. The L-Shape model distills these principles into a resolved and disciplined seating form.

The design is defined by rectilinear geometry and the deliberate absence of armrests, resulting in a light, open silhouette. Slender, precisely proportioned legs support the seating volume, creating a sense of visual suspension while maintaining structural balance. This interplay between lightness and stability is characteristic of Tenreiro’s broader body of work, where architectural logic governs form.
