Pennsylvania House Furniture Company was founded in 1887 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and was know for its high quality construction and using locally sourced woods from the surrounding Appalachian Mountains. This writing desk is made from solid cherry with wonderful brass pulls. There are 8 small drawers and a pair of doors with 3 shelves tucked behind. Overall this desk measures 34” wide 18” deep ( closed ) and 41” high. With the flip top open, the desk is 25” deep and the writing surface is 14” deep. The desk surface is 29” high and the kneehole is 24” high. We think this desk would be perfect in a bedroom next to the bed as a nightstand, tucked in the corner of a family room, or staged as an adorable foyer piece. We have tried to represent the wear accurately, but additional photos are available on request. See less
