This listing is for a gorgeous antique French mantel clock.
It is made in the Aesthetic style from wood with inset porcelain panels and a matching porcelain dial.
This design is attributed to Lewis Foreman Day.
The movement is an 8 day time and strike. It was last serviced in 2019. It ran and chimed when recently tested. The gong has a nice deep tone.
The clock measures 9.5 x 5.75 x 12.75 inches.
The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Colors are still vibrant. Some minor signs of normal wear and age present. Dial is ever so slightly loose, but remains in tact and in place.
Please note that any mechanical clock that is shipped might require adjustments upon arrival. Thus time accuracy/running cannot be guaranteed.
Chairish sells clocks solely to be intended for display. The mechanical elements are not guaranteed to be in working order by Chairish.
