This was folded on a table, quietly magnificent, and we knew immediately it was coming home with us.
The fabric is woven in a contemporary taker on classic French damask — a tonal pattern of softly rendered motifs that shift between matte and sheen as the light moves across it, the unmistakable signature of true hand-loomed French linen. The color is honest, unbleached natural écru: the color of old farmhouses, well-kept linen cupboards, and Sunday lunches that last all afternoon.
