We are selling this nice 19th century Chinese export tea caddy with gilt decoration. This box has nice form and has the original pewter interior with lid. Probably late 19th century.
Condition: Wear with some cracking and losses to the lacquer surface. Some age splitting to the soft wood. Pewter lid doesn’t sit perfectly on pewter box.
